Watercolor Paintings

Finished these 2 traditional watercolor paintings. : 3
SleepyTime Tea Bear on Liquitex Canvas Textured Paper, 300gsm and some weird Flower Pattern on Strathmore 500 Heavyweight Mixed Media, Vellum, 570 gsm (which is the highest I can find for a paper and the only paper I have that WON'T curl. It's also compatible to paint different things on the front and back of the same sheet. I had thrown a lot of shade at this paper because it pilled and degraded really badly when I first tried using it with acrylic paint. It seems fine for watercolor though and I'm still not sure what the issue was.) Watercolors used, as usual, were my Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36ct set. Gold Uni-Ball Gel Pen was used for the line for the pattern. All in all I think these were good practice for me though and I'm enjoying working with watercolor a lot more than I used to : 3
